The theme of the Dubai World Expo is ‘Connecting Minds – Creating the Future’. Nearly 190 countries are participating in the exhibition, which runs until March 31, 2022. Some 15 Swedish companies have been selected to showcase the most innovative solutions in sustainability and mobility in the Swedish pavilion.

“It is extremely gratifying that Zipforce is given the opportunity to participate in the initiative that the Swedish government is implementing in connection with the World Expo in Dubai. I am proud that Zipforce has been selected as one of the Swedish companies to showcase the very best of Swedish innovation with a focus on environment, mobility and recycling”, says Måns Bengtsson, founder of Zipforce.

Zipforce turns any ordinary bike into an electric one with a small, portable electric motor mounted on bikes – smart, fast and easy. It is easy to move the motor from one bike to another, avoiding the need to invest in a new e-bike and saving natural resources. The portable electric motor attaches with a few clicks to the mounted bracket and the Zipforce provides power when the cyclist needs it.

Launched in 2020, Zipforce is patented and developed by founder Måns Bengtsson. The industrialization has been done together with Tritech, Lagan Plåtprodukter and independent consultants. Zipforce is sold in its own online shop. Manufacturing is done by Lagan Plåtprodukter outside Ljungby in Småland.

– “We have worked intensively for a couple of years to create a simple lifestyle product for environmentally conscious people that leads to a healthy lifestyle and at the same time contributes to less climate impact and better use of the earth’s resources,” says Måns Bengtsson.

The World Expo runs for 6 months from its start in October and is expected to attract more than 20 million visitors.
