Zipforce is one of the Swedish innovations that will be presented in the Swedish pavilion at the World Exhibition Expo 2020 in Dubai – 1 October 2021 – 31 March 2022. The World Exhibition committee has selected Zipforce as one of the Swedish products and innovations that represents the best of Sweden and Swedish business.
The theme for the Dubai World Expo is “Connecting Minds – Creating the Future”. Nearly 190 countries are participating in the exhibition, which runs until 31 March 2022. About 15 Swedish companies have been selected to showcase the most innovative solutions in sustainability and mobility in Sweden’s pavilion.
“It is extremely gratifying that Zipforce will have the opportunity to take part in the initiative that the Swedish government is carrying out in connection with the world exhibition in Dubai. I am proud that Zipforce has been selected and is one of the Swedish companies that can showcase the very best of Swedish innovation with a focus on the environment, mobility and recycling, ”says Måns Bengtsson, founder of Zipforce.
Zipforce converts any ordinary bicycle to an electric one with a a small, portable electric motor that is mounted on bicycles – smart, fast and easy. It is easy to move the motor between different bikes and the users thus do not have to invest in a new electric bike, which means that you can save on the nature’s resources. The portable electric motor is mounted with a few clicks on the mounted bracket and Zipforce provides power when the cyclist needs it.
Zipforce was launched in 2020 and is patented and developed by the founder Måns Bengtsson. Industrialization has been done together with Tritech, Lagan Plåtprodukter and independent consultants. Zipforce is sold in its own web shop. Manufacturing is done by Lagan Plåtprodukter outside Ljungby in Småland.
“We have worked intensively for a couple of years to create a sustainable and simple lifestyle product for environmentally conscious people that both leads to a healthy lifestyle and at the same time contributes to less climate impact and better use of the earth’s resources,” says Måns Bengtsson.
The world exhibition runs for 6 months from the start in October and is expected to attract more than 20 million visitors.
