
Zipforce is selected as the only Swedish startup for sustainable mobility from a new EU initiative to help the delivery of more liveable and greener urban spaces.
From over 70 applications from all over Europe and associated countries, the E+Mobility consortium has selected Zipforce as one of the 12 most promising start-ups within the fields of energy, micromobility, and shared mobility to be part of the first edition of the E+ Mobility Accelerator Programme. This project is financed by the EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union.
Zipforce will benefit from individualized mentoring, training, expert workshops, free office space, product and technology validation with access to a network of living labs, and access to EIT Urban Mobility investment initiatives and funding instruments, among other benefits provided by the international consortium partners.

EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The vision is to support and encourage positive changes in the way people move around cities in order to make them more liveable places. The goal is to become the largest European initiative transforming urban mobility, and by that creating more liveable urban spaces. By fostering innovation and transformation, the program aims to improve people’s quality of life, decarbonise mobility and make Europe’s economy more competitive.

Zipforce has developed a portable electric motor that turns any regular bike into an electric bike. Smart technology combined with Swedish engineering that creates a sustainable, affordable, and fun way to electrify existing bikes.
