Does Zipforce fit my bike?

Zipforce can be fitted to most bikes, some models may require a bit more modification than others. You mount the Zipforce on the front wheel or the rear wheel using our patented and unique quick release, it is developed to fit as many bikes as possible.

Zipforce works best with relatively smooth tires intended for road cycling, but can also be used with coarser patterned tires as long as the center is uniform across the tire. Studded tires can be used, provided that the studs are only on the sides of the tire. It is important that the studs do not come into contact with the drive wheel, as the Zipforce drive wheel then quickly wears down.

Can I try Zipforce!

It is possible to test ride Zipforce at selected retailers and at our office at Dalagatan 76 in Stockholm, Sweden.

How does Zipforce work?

The device only provides assistance when you pedal forward and a pedal sensor detects your cadence, or pedaling rate. You set the motor's assistance level with a screw adjustment located on the device. When you reach 25 km/h, the assistance is automatically disconnected, but you can still pedal the bike at higher speeds under your own power.

How far does the battery last?

With full assistance, i.e. the personal contribution is small, the battery lasts for 20 km for the Slim model and 35 km for the Distance model. If you help yourself and cycle normally, you can reach up to 40 km for the Slim model and 70 km for the Distance model. The Zipforce is also equipped with regenerative braking that provides a light engine brake while simultaneously charging the battery.

How fast does Zipforce run?

Zipforce provides assistance up to 25 km/h, just as other e-bikes are limited to. After 25 km/h the motor stops powering, but you can pedal the bike yourself at higher speeds.

How long is the charging time?

A fully discharged battery takes up to 4 hours to recharge with the supplied charger.
